Real growth in copywriting

For a few months now I’ve been operating my business Wordsmith & More in its new format – a change from the previous 4-5 years being dependent on word of mouth and tied to an hourly rate for copywriting, with no real hope of growth.

A few months later I’ve managed to fund a new website and regular advertising, attend a couple of conferences and hold my own MAD Women networking event in Mansfield. Yesterday the Herald Sun rang – doing an article on rural women in business featuring yours truly online business and marketing copywriter. Wow! Sure beats sitting at my desk waiting for the phone to ring :)
